The second annual Indie Boots Theatre Festival celebrates new short
plays with different perspectives on whose stories are worth telling,
what's funny, and how the world works. This year’s writing prompt, to
use “Olivia” in the title of a short script, resulted in hundreds of
diverse submissions, each competing to be a finalist performed in the
2014 festival. On Monday, April 28 – Wednesday, April 30 at 7:30pm at
Greenhouse Theater Center, teams of Chicago directors and actors bring
life to the scripts, having spent the past month turning the the
written word into fully staged plays. It’s up to you, our savvy
audience, to experience these lively collaborations and determine the
winning play!
